We are the leaders we've been waiting for, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. reminded us. We are the ones best qualified to save our besieged communities.
For almost two decades now, A Place of Restoration has been responding to the dire needs of people who are unable to provide for themselves and their families in some of the most basic ways. These are not people who “work” the system; rather, they are the ones who fall hard through the bureaucratic cracks and suffer the indignity of life-and-death choices every day.
Through our various ministries, we reach out to the elderly, at-risk children, the sick, the hungry, and those in despair. With your financial support, we can respond to even more people who look to us for urgent help.
Our main helping programs and ministries include:
Project C.A.R.E.S. (Cancer Awareness, Restoration, Evaluation and Support) reaching out to people living with cancer
Project Gas – free gas coupons to help with fuel costs
Project Appliance – new and used appliances for those in need
Food Bank – 25% to 50% discount on groceries
A Father's Love – caring for children of fatherless homes
Spiritual counseling – providing a Christian foundation for daily life
Restoration – especially of abused women and at-risk children
FINANCIAL COUNSELING – encouraging thrift and financial responsibility
Debt-Freedom Solutions – teaching systems that promote a debt-free life
Total health – a holistic approach to healing body, mind and soul Whatever you give we will gladly accept, but we're hoping that you would consider becoming a sponsor at $30 a month—just $1 a day—to help someone in dire need.
Your donation is tax-deductible, and as a Friend of A Place of Restoration you'll be acknowledged in the credits of two local television programs that are part of our community outreach—on WBFS (My 33; 5:30 a.m. on Saturdays), and GEN-TV (Channel 8; 6 a.m. on Sundays).
Make your decision to become a Friend of a Place of Restoration today. Your check or money order, made payable to A Place of Restoration, gets the process started. Or, you can CLICK HERE TO MAKE AN ONLINE DONATION. |
